What was Jesus" body like after his resurrection?

Jesus resurrected in a spiritual body. We understand this because physical barriers no longer confined his actions. Also, the analogy between Jesus’ resurrection and Christian baptism tells us we are sown a natural body and raised a spiritual body (1 Cor 15:44). The Bible narrates the events surrounding the resurrection: “Jesus came, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst” (Jn 20:19, 26). “He vanished out of their sight” (Lk 24:31). However, we don’t really know what type of spiritual body Jesus had. The Bible says Jesus had bones and flesh. So in some sense, he was tangible and could eat and speak like a normal person (Lk 24:39, 43). Jesus’ resurrection was not the result of an “undying spirit,” that never dies. To put Jesus in that category would mean Jesus’ body died and only his spirit resurrected. The Bible is clear that his body rose from death and transformed into a “glorious body” (Phil 3:21; Acts 2:31). Unfortunately, we don’t understand what type of body Jesus had really well, except that it was a spiritual body capable of being tangible with flesh and bone.
