Be Baptized
To receive the Holy Spirit, we
need to go through conversion. We must believe in the Lord Jesus as our Savior,
humbly repent of our sins, and be baptized into Christ. Baptism goes hand in
hand with the promise of the Holy Spirit; we cannot have one without the other.
"Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for
the forgiveness of your sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy
Spirit" (Acts ).
If you have been baptized in a way
that is different from what the Bible teaches, or have not received the full
gospel of salvation, you will need to receive baptism and the gospel in the
True Jesus Church.
