God’s Loving Anger
In this issue, we’re exploring
God’s anger so that we can come to a deeper understanding of another dimension
of God’s amazing love. Although God’s love for us is unconditional and limitless,
we also need to regard His love in a reverential and worshipful manner. His
anger and punishment keeps us aligned to His truth so that we can stay on the
path to salvation.
In this section, the writers
explore the stories of Gideon and David—how each experienced the wrath of God,
and how they turned to God to deliver them. They also share what it means to
appreciate God’s love properly and faithfully. And with God’s loving anger—be
it in the form of a warning, punishment, or suffering—comes His saving grace.
This is the best part.
