God is all-powerful. “With God all things are possible†(Mt 19:26). There is nothing too difficult for God to do (Gen 18:14; Jer 32:17). Therefore, God is known as the “Almighty†(Job 37:23) or “God Almighty†(Gen 17:1; Rev 11:17). In the original language of the Hebrew Bible, “God†also means “powerful.â€
