Jesus’ charity satisfied the physical and spiritual needs of many people. The body is temporary, but the soul is eternal. What we don’t see is more important than what we do see. Jesus cared for and healed the sick. He drove out demons and raised the dead—healing people to a spiritual wholeness. Jesus’ work was done not for the sake of healing itself, but to draw people to spiritual progress and faith in him. Therefore, all the good Jesus did was mainly for the purpose of fulfilling and saving people spiritually. The following lists some of Jesus’ blessings: - Peace (Lk 1:79; Mk 5:34; Lk 7:50; Jn 14:27; 16:33; Phil 4:7; Col 3:15).
- Freedom (Jn 8:36; Lk 13:16; Rom 8:1–2; Gal 5:1, 13; 2 Cor 3:17).

- Abundance (Jn 6:35; Mt 5:6; 14:20; Jn 6:27, 28; 1 Cor 10:3–4).
