He testifies for Jesus (Jn 15:26–27; Acts 5:32; Heb 10:15) and glorifies him (Jn 16:14). He takes what is Jesus’, makes from what is Jesus’, and makes what is Jesus’ (i.e., what is from the Father) known to the disciples (Jn 16:15), reminding them of what Jesus said to his disciples (Jn 15:26). The Holy Spirit represents Jesus and is with the disciples (Jn 13:20; 14:17–18).
