Case study:
Ronda likes things done her way.
Some may compliment her for being persistent in achieving her goals. But after
receiving the Holy Spirit in her junior year of high school, she began to take
notice of the negative effects of her stubbornness. However, she continues to
struggle with it even after entering college. Now that she is a member of the
campus fellowship organizers, she frequently encounters disagreements with her
fellow coworkers. Ronda feels that she has the most experience on this campus
because she will be a senior next semester and all the other members are still
younger than sophomores. In addition, Ronda feels no one else in the group has
the insight or the dedication like she does. She just does not understand why
they don’t listen to her. On top of that, these members start to spread rumors
about her always wanting to be the boss. Ronda feels hurt by people talking
behind her back instead of talking to her directly. However, she wants to be
faithful to her assignment and decides to continue with her work in the campus
fellowship.
Evaluate Ronda’s persistence and
perseverance in her involvement with the campus fellowship.
