VI.  Case study:

Eric has always been a “good boy” to his family and church friends. He does his best to be a good Christian and serves God in anyway he is able. When he was choosing where to go to school, he made a conscious decision to go to a university where there is a church. Now in his sophomore year, while surfing the web one day, he found a porn site that he heard his friends mentioned often. At first, he felt guilty in looking at the site. But he finds it difficult to resist the temptation, especially when he is alone with the computer. Gradually, he reasons to himself: “I’m not hurting anyone with this. It’s just a harmless pastime. As long as I can keep up with my grades in school, this is OK.” However, after some time looking at this porn site, he found it increasingly difficult to concentrate when he sees any good-looking girls nearby. He could be in his class, walking in the campus, in the cafeteria, or even at church! He is beginning to see these girls in a way that he knows he should not. What is wrong with Eric?
