As humans, we’re eager to fit God into our own sphere, into our human sense of time and reality. The truth is, God has already defeated Satan. The victory is in the blood and water that flowed on a cross two thousand years ago, and in the resurrected body of Jesus Christ. By this improbable way, God took away the dominion of sin. Satan is now powerless over those who put their faith in Jesus Christ and in the justification of His blood. It is God’s mercy—giving people the opportunity to turn to Him—and His timing that determine when Satan and all who are wicked will be condemned once and for all on the Judgment Day.
