Suppose someone walked up to you and said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. I am not just a messenger of God, but God Himself! Besides me, there is no other way to heaven.” Would you take him to be just another moral teacher?

Jesus taught about the kingdom of God and the right way to live. He prophesied about His death, His resurrection, as well as the destruction of the temple in Jerusalem. But He was also more than a prophet or a teacher. Buddha, Mohammed, or Confucius never claimed they were God. But those who witnessed Jesus’ life, His death, and His prophesied resurrection realized that what He claimed was true. No other prophet or teacher in the history of the world has risen from the dead. Jesus Christ is the living God. And because He is alive, we can also experience Him working in our lives today.
