Christians should pray for everyone (1 Tim 2:1). More specifically, we should pray for: ourselves and our families (2 Cor 12:8–9; 2 Sam 12:16–17), the Lord’s servants (Eph 6:19–20; 2 Thess 3:1–2), brothers and sisters (Jas 5:16), the sick and demon-possessed (Jas 5:14; Mt 17:21), persecuted workers (Acts 12:5), all the saints (Eph 6:18), sinners (1 Jn 5:16), all those who are in high positions (1 Tim 2:2), and enemies (Mt 5:44). As Christians, we carry a great responsibility in our prayer life.
