Jesus was gentle and humble, full of sympathy and charity. Jesus said, “All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out†(Jn 6:37). “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest †(Mt 11:28). He searched for and saved the lost (Lk 19:10). From these verses we catch a glimpse of the man Jesus was. We see Jesus rarely lost his temper, and when he did it was usually dealing with hypocrisy or some obstruction to God’s work. Jesus seemed to especially look to the hopeless and lost to give hope and direction.
